69. Allotment of wages
(1) A crew agreement may contain a stipulation that a part of the wages
due to a seafarer not exceeding 50 per cent of his monthly wages may, during his absence from Mauritius, be allotted to such person and at such time
as may be specified in the agreement.
(2) Any person who becomes entitled to an allotment under this section may
sue and recover the amount of the allotment as if it were a debt due to him.
