90. Relief and repatriation of foreign seafarer
(1) Where a foreign ship proceeds or intends to proceed to sea and
leaves or intends to leave behind a foreign seafarer in Mauritius, the cost of
his repatriation shall be borne by the owner of the ship or, where the owner
is not in Mauritius, by the agent of the ship.

(2) Where expenses referred to in subsection (1) are incurred by the
Government, they shall be recoverable from the owner or agent of the ship.
