4. Objects of Foundation
The objects of the Foundation shall be to—
(a) promote the intellectual, social, cultural and artistic development
of the Tamil-speaking group;
(b) grant scholarships for studies in the fields of language, arts and
culture;
(c) disseminate and promote Tamil language and culture;
(d) promote exchanges with other organisations having similar objectives both locally and internationally;
(e) encourage and assist financially or otherwise local organisations
which have similar objectives as the Foundation;
