11. Auction sale of archival material
(1) Where any sworn auctioneer puts up for sale any property purporting
to be a record of historical value or of public interest, he shall notify the
Director in writing of such sale at least 7 clear days prior to the sale.

(2) The Director may, after obtaining the approval of the Minister, purchase the property directly from the seller or by bidding at the auction sale or
subsequently from the adjudicatee.
