9. Termination of appointment
(1) Where a member appointed by the Minister is absent from 3 consecutive meetings of the Board, except on leave recommended by the Board and
approved by the Minister or on valid grounds, the Minister shall terminate his
appointment.
(2) A vacancy shall be filled by the Minister in accordance with section 7 (3) for the remaining period of the term for which the member specified in subsection (1) was appointed.
