21. Invalid’s contributory pension
(1) Where an insured person—
(a) has not reached retiring age; and
(b) is wholly or substantially disabled and is likely to be so disabled
either permanently or for at least 12 months,
he shall be entitled to an invalid’s contributory pension.

(2) The amount of the invalid’s contributory pension shall be—
(a) where the insured person has a dependent child, the amount
calculated in accordance with the Third Schedule;
(b) where the insured person has no dependent child, two thirds of
the amount payable under paragraph (a).
