29. Restriction on grant of authorisation to hunt game
No authorisation shall be granted under section 27 or 28 to—
(a) a person who has, within a period of 5 years preceding the date
of the application, been convicted of an offence under this Act; or

(b) a gamekeeper, except with the written consent of the
gamekeeper’s employer.
