31. Functions of Invasive Alien Species Committee
The Invasive Alien Species Committee shall advise the Minister on—
(a) any matter related to the introduction of exotic wildlife in
Mauritius;
(b) a request for the importation of invasive alien species;
(c) the policy to be adopted for the control of invasive alien species; and
(d) the preparation of a prohibited list of wildlife species which shall
not be allowed to enter Mauritius.
