2. Interpretation
In this Act—
“Committee” means the National Youth Council Executive Committee
referred to in section 7;
“Council” means the National Youth Council established under section 3;
“Minister” means the Minister to whom responsibility for the subject of
youth is assigned;
“National Youth Organisation” means a youth organisation specified in
the Schedule;
“Regional Youth Council” means a Regional Youth Council referred to
in section 13;
“Secretary” means the Secretary of the Council;

“youth” means a person aged between 14 and 29;
“youth organisation” means any youth organisation catering for the
welfare of youth and includes a youth club.
