40. Supply of drinking water
(1) There shall be provided and maintained at suitable points conveniently
accessible to all employees an adequate supply of wholesome drinking water.
(2) Where the supply of drinking water is not a supply of running water,
it shall be contained in suitable vessels and shall be renewed at least daily,
and all practicable steps shall be taken to preserve the water and vessels
from contamination at any time.
(3) All containers or vessels containing harmful liquids which may be
confused with drinking water or other beverages shall be clearly marked to
indicate their contents or marked with a warning sign.
