14. Proof of acts or omissions
Where proceedings are instituted against any person for an offence under
this Act and it is alleged that any act or omission occurred for a purpose or

in a manner likely to prejudice the safety or interests of Mauritius, the Court
may infer that the act or omission occurred for that purpose or in that manner from the circumstances of the case or the conduct or known character of
that person which are proved in the course of the proceedings.
