7. Expenses and allowances
The Ombudsman may, where he thinks fit, pay to any person by whom a
complaint has been made or to any person who attends, or furnishes information for the purposes of, an investigation, sums in respect of expenses
properly incurred or by way of allowance or compensation for loss of time, in
accordance with such scales and subject to such conditions as may be
prescribed.
