28. Registrable industrial design (1) An industrial design shall be registrable under this Act where it is new. (2) An industrial design is new where it has not been disclosed to the public, anywhere in the world, by publication in tangible form or by use or any other way, prior to the filing date or, where applicable, the priority date of the application for registration. (3) Section 12 (4) shall apply, mutatis mutandis, to applications for the registration of industrial designs. (4) Any industrial design that is contrary to public order or morality shall not be registrable.
