22. Benefits of participants leaving the service or on dismissal
(1) Where a participant has contributed towards his pension for at least
one year and leaves or otherwise ceases, other than on ground of dismissal,
to be in the public service, the participant may elect to—
(a) transfer the accumulated benefits to a pension scheme administered by SICOM or an authorised agent referred to in section 20
(2), as the case may be;

(b) leave the accumulated benefits in his individual account until retirement or death; or
(c) be refunded his share of the contribution, which shall be computed in such manner as may be prescribed.
(2) Where a participant is dismissed from the public service, any refund
of his accumulated benefits shall be computed in such manner as may be
prescribed.
