28. Exemption
Section 27 (1) shall not apply to the sale of a poison—
(a) by wholesale;
(b) to an authorised person;
(c) for use in—
(i) a hospital, an infirmary or a dispensary maintained by any
public authority; or
(ii) in a private clinic; or

(d) to any person who proves to the satisfaction of the Board that
he is engaged in scientific education or research and requires the
poison for the purpose of scientific education or research.
