7. Jurisdiction (1) Notwithstanding any other enactment, prosecution for an offence under this Act shall, at the sole discretion of the Director of Public Prosecutions, take place before a Judge without a jury or the Intermediate Court. (2) Notwithstanding any other enactment, the Intermediate Court shall have jurisdiction to inflict penal servitude for a term not exceeding 40 years where a person is convicted of an offence under this Act.
