10. Secretary to Commission
(1) The Public Service Commission shall appoint—
(a) a Secretary to the Commission, who shall attend, and may speak
at, the meetings of the Commission but shall not be a member
of the Commission;
(b) an Assistant Secretary to the Commission, who shall assist the
Secretary in his functions and who shall, in the Secretary’s absence, perform the functions of the Secretary.
(2) The Secretary shall—
(a) work closely with the Chairperson to ensure that the Commission performs its functions under this Act as expediently and efficiently as possible;
(b) keep the minutes of the Commission; and
(c) perform all necessary administrative functions for and on behalf
of the Commission.
