(2) An application under subsection (1) shall be supported by an affidavit by the Director-General disclosing the reason why an order is sought under this section. (3) No order shall issue under subsection (1) with respect to a law practitioner unless the Judge is satisfied that, having regard to the need to protect legal professional privilege, it is in the public interest that the order be made without requiring the law practitioner to show cause why the order should not be made.
