2. Interpretation
In this Act—
“animal” means a living creature, other than a human being, which is—
(a) dependent upon man for its care and sustenance; or
(b) kept by man in a state of captivity;
“Minister” means the Minister to whom responsibility for the subject of
health is assigned.
