22A. Functions of Committee
The functions of the Committee shall be to –
(a) ensure that the Counterterrorism Unit discharges its
functions under section 19 of the Act;
(b) ensure that general preparedness plans in relation to
counterterrorism are activated at all levels;
(c) review the adequacy of counterterrorism legislation in
Mauritius;
(d) advise the Minister on counterterrorism issues; and
(e) take such other measures as may be appropriate in the
circumstances.
