6. Meetings of Committee (1) A meeting of the Committee shall be held at least once every 2 months at such time and place as the Chairperson may direct. [Issue 1] P29 – 2 Revised Laws of Mauritius (2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), the Chairperson may at any time call a meeting of the Committee and shall call such a meeting within 15 days of receiving a request in that behalf addressed to him and signed by no fewer than 5 members. (3) Twelve members shall constitute a quorum. (4) The Committee may appoint such sub-committees as may be necessary to enable it to fulfil its functions. (5) Subject to this section, the Committee shall regulate its meetings and proceedings and those of its sub-committees in such manner as it thinks fit.
