43. Confidentiality
(1) No member or officer shall, during or after his relationship with the
Council, use or disclose any matter which comes to his knowledge in the
performance of his functions, except for the purposes of administering this
Act.
(2) Any person who, without lawful excuse, contravenes subsection (1)
shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 50,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months.
