31. Other disciplinary measures
Without any of the proceedings provided for in sections 26, 27, 29 and
30 being instituted, the Council shall, where a professional quantity surveyor
has been convicted of an offence and is serving a sentence of imprisonment
or penal servitude—
(a) suspend him as a professional quantity surveyor for such time as
the Council may determine; or
(b) deregister him as a professional quantity surveyor.
