5. Putting an end to public gatherings
(1) Where, during the course of a public gathering, a police officer not
below the rank of Inspector has reasonable ground to believe that the continuance of the gathering is prejudicial to public safety or public order, he
may direct the organisers of the gathering to put an end to it.
(2) Any person who fails to comply with any direction given under this
section shall commit an offence.
