43. Fee payable to medical practitioner
(1) For every certificate duly sent, there shall be paid to the medical practitioner signing it such fee as may be prescribed.
(2) Not more than one fee shall be payable for the same case within an
interval of 15 days to the same medical practitioner for certificates given by
him in respect of the same disease occurring on the same premises.
(3) No fee shall be payable for a certificate delivered by a medical practitioner in respect of a patient in a public hospital, asylum or infirmary of
which he is the medical practitioner.
