7. Powers of Permanent Secretary
(1) The Permanent Secretary shall have the general control of all public
hospitals, and shall be vested with and may exercise the same powers as the
Sanitary Authority.
(2) The Permanent Secretary may transfer hospital warders, dispensers,
nurses and dressers, and health inspectors where he considers the transfer
necessary for the good of the service, and assign to them such duties as he
thinks fit.
