74. Giving false certificate of death
Any medical practitioner who, in any certificate given under this Part,
makes a statement as to the cause or probable cause of death, knowing it to
be false or not believing it to be true, shall commit an offence and shall, on
conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 1,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months.
