7. Special powers
(1) (a) Where in the opinion of the Quarantine Authority an emergency
exists, he may, by Order, require special measures to be taken during the
continuance of that emergency for any purpose specified in sections 4
and 6.
(b) Notwithstanding any regulations or rules under section 4 or 6, an
Order made under paragraph (a) shall have the force of law.
(2) An Order made under subsection (1) may be varied or rescinded by
the President.
