23. Offences
Any person who—
(a) wilfully delays or hinders an officer in the exercise of his duties
under this Act;
(b) provides any information required under this Act which is false
or misleading in a material particular; or
(c) otherwise contravenes this Act,
shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not
exceeding 50,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one
year.
