3. Application of Act
This Act shall apply to every source of ionising radiation above the exemption level other than—
(a) radioactive substances found in nature; and
(b) sealed sources or any apparatus or device containing a sealed
source, where the dose rate at 10 centimetres from the source
does not exceed one micro sivert per hour and the source activity does not exceed the exemption level.
