8. Staff of Authority
(1) There shall be appointed a Chief Radiation Protection Officer, Radiation Protection Officers and such other officers as may be necessary for the
proper discharge of the functions of the Authority under this Act.
(2) Every person referred to in subsection (1) shall be a public officer.
(3) A person shall not be eligible for appointment under subsection (1)
where—
(a) he is a licensee;
(b) his spouse or any of his children is a licensee; or
(c) he, his spouse or any of his children, has a financial interest in a
body corporate or any other body which is a licensee.
