10. Offences
Any person who—
(a) without lawful authority or excuse, fails to comply with a summons under section 9; or
(b) contravenes this Act or any regulations made under it,
shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not
exceeding 50,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding
5 years.
