6. Uniform and equipment
Every officer, other than one who is attached to a Rehabilitation Youth
Centre—
(a) shall wear the uniform of the Service and be provided with a baton; and
(b) may be provided with such firearm, weapon, ammunition and
other equipment as may be necessary for the effective discharge
of his duties.
