6. Registration fee
(1) Subject to this section, the authorised officer shall register the document specified in column 1 of the Schedule on payment of the corresponding
registration fee at the rate specified in column 3 of that Schedule calculated
on the corresponding basis specified in column 4 of that Schedule.

(2) Any registration fee payable which is less than a multiple of 5 rupees
shall be increased to the next higher figure which is a multiple of 5 rupees.
(3) No document specified in column 1 of the Schedule shall be registered unless the registration fee has been paid.
