70. Illegal practice Any person who— (a) votes, or induces or procures any person to vote, at an election, knowing that he or the other person is prohibited, by this Act or by any other enactment, from voting at the election; or (b) before or during an election, knowingly publishes a false statement of the withdrawal of a candidate at the election for the purpose of promoting or procuring the election of another candidate, shall be guilty of an illegal practice.
