84. Complaints under Parts I and II
(1) Complaints for contraventions of Part I may be made by any Superintendent of Police, the Sanitary Authority within whose jurisdiction the
offence took place, or the syndic, or joint-syndic, or guardian of any canal
which receives water from the river or stream in or on either bank of which
the offence occurred.
(2) Complaints for contravention of Part II may be made and prosecuted
by the syndic or joint-syndic, or guardian with consent under section 6 (2) of
the canal to which the offence relates or by any riverain whose interests are
injured by the offence.
