123AI. Effectiveness of penalty points
Any penalty points allocated pursuant to section 123AG,
191 or 195 shall remain effective until –
(a) 36 months have elapsed since the day on which the
penalty points were allocated; or
(b) they have been taken into account for the purposes of
a disqualification order under section 123AH,

whichever occurs earlier, and shall, as from that date, no longer be
considered to be effective.
