155. Obstruction on roads Any person who, for any purpose, places or causes to be placed a rope, wire or other apparatus across a road in such manner as to be likely to cause danger to persons using the road— (a) without lawful authority or reasonable excuse; and (b) unless he had taken all necessary means to give adequate warning of the danger, shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 1,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months.
