5A. Leased vehicles
Where a leased vehicle has been registered in accordance with section 5,
the lessee of the vehicle shall, for the purposes of this Act, be deemed to be
the owner of the leased vehicle and shall incur the liabilities and obligations
imposed under this Act, or under any other enactment, as if he were the
owner of the vehicle.
