78. Extension of validity of licence
Where, on the date of the expiry of a stage bus licence, other than a
short term licence—
(a) proceedings are pending before the Authority, on application by
the holder of that licence for the grant to him of a new licence in
substitution for the existing licence; or
(b) an appeal is pending in respect of any decision of the Authority,
the existing licence shall, without prejudice to the powers of suspension and
revocation conferred by this Part, continue in force until the application or
appeal is disposed of.
