17. Hoardings to be securely erected
(1) No person shall use, for any purpose, a hoarding or similar contrivance that is on, or adjoins, a road unless it is securely fixed to the satisfaction of the highway authority responsible for the road.
(2) Any person who contravenes this section shall commit an offence in
respect of each day during which the contravention subsists.
