66A. Placing signs and slogans
(1) Where a sign or slogan is written or otherwise placed on, or in the vicinity of, a road, and it appears to a police officer not below the rank of Inspector
to be necessary or expedient in the interests of public safety or public order so
to do, the police officer may remove or obliterate the sign or slogan.
(2) Any person who writes on a road or in the vicinity of a road, a sign or
slogan which is prejudicial to public safety or public order shall commit an
offence.
(3) The Commissioner of Police may prohibit the use of a road or the use
of a vehicle on a road, on which, or in the vicinity of which, there is a sign or
slogan which, in his opinion, is prejudicial to public safety or public order.
