40. Prime Minister to be informed concerning matters of Executive Council
(1) The Chief Commissioner shall keep the Prime Minister fully informed
concerning the general conduct of the affairs of the Executive Council in
relation to Rodrigues and shall furnish the Prime Minister with such information as he may request from time to time with respect thereof.
(2) The Prime Minister may invite the Chief Commissioner to discussions
with a view to formulating administrative and legislative mechanisms for the
promotion of harmony in the affairs of the Island of Mauritius and Rodrigues.
