69. Other offices
(1) The offices on the establishment of the Central Administration
Rodrigues and persons holding those offices, immediately before the date of
the coming into force of this Act shall, on that date, be transferred to the
Regional Assembly and all rights, privileges and conditions of service
incidental to such offices shall be retained under this Act.
(2) In addition to the offices referred to in subsection (1), the Regional
Assembly shall have such offices as are necessary for the efficient discharge
of its functions under this Act.
(3) Any office referred to in this section shall be a public office as from
28 June 2002, and any officer holding an office on the coming into
operation of this Act, shall be considered to have held such office as from
the date of his transfer to the Regional Assembly, or from the date of his
appointment to serve the Regional Assembly, as the case may be.
