18. Commission and costs of appraisement
(1) Every auctioneer may claim a fee of 150 rupees for every attendance
of 3 hours’ duration in making an appraisement and, where called out of Port
Louis, the same fee as a notary for his time and travelling expenses.
(2) Every auctioneer may charge a commission of 5 per cent on the produce of all auction sales conducted by him, exclusive of disbursements for
advertisement and duties on the sale.
