140. Obstructing Commission Any person who hinders or obstructs the Commission, the Chief Executive or any person authorised by the Commission or the Chief Executive, in the performance of their duties under this Act, any regulations made under this Act or any FSC Rules, shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 500,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years.
