142. Continuing offences (1) Where under any provision of this Act— (a) an act is required to be done within a particular period or before a particular time; (b) failure or refusal to comply with any provision is an offence; and S7 – 51 [Issue 3] Securities Act (c) the obligation to do the act continues after the period has ended or the time has passed, the person shall commit a separate offence for each day on which the failure or refusal continues, and shall be liable on conviction for each further offence. (2) The Commission may, by rules, in relation to a provision referred to in subsection (1), provide for a penalty for each day that the offence continues.
