3. Application of Act
(1) This Act shall apply to public offerings of shares owned by the
Government of the Republic of Mauritius but shall not apply to debt securities or treasury bills issued or guaranteed by the Republic of Mauritius or
such other country as may be prescribed.
(2) The Commission may, by notice, exempt any person or class of
persons, or any securities transaction from the provisions of this Act.
