2. Interpretation
In this Act—
“eco-tourism activities” means such nature-based or adventure-related
tourism activities as may be prescribed;
“lease” means a lease of the right—
(a) to shoot and go in pursuit of game;
(b) to fish, hunt or fowl; and
(c) subject to the payment of such fees as may be prescribed, to
carry out eco-tourism activities,
on State land;
“Minister” means the Minister to whom responsibility for the subject of
agriculture is assigned;
“year of the lease” means the period extending from 8 September in
any year to 7 September in the following year.
