11. Managing Director
(1) There shall be a chief executive officer of the Authority who shall
be—
(a) known as the Managing Director; and
(b) appointed by the Board, with the approval of the Minister, on
such terms and conditions as it thinks fit.
(2) The Managing Director shall—
(a) be responsible for the execution of the policy of the Board and
for the control and management of the day-to-day business of
the Authority;
(b) act in accordance with such directions as he may receive from
the Board;
(c) achieve annual performance targets set by the Board;
(d) submit to the Board, every 3 months, a report on the activities
and finances of the Authority.
